I like cuffs/schackles. The sound the make and the fact that they are impossible to escape from (and I know, I'm a an escape artist - professionally) make them hot.
The ease of on/off is also a factor.

i just like the pretty pattern rope leaves on skin... especially hemp... though, to be honest, I don't do all that much bondage. i'd like to do more though...
i was only handcuffed once in a scene. they hurt! lol. It was a kidnap scene at camp crucible... i was handcuffed, tied down to a medic cot, had ice all over me (and i fought like hell lol) and was "pushed" down a hill... Of course I knew they'd never do that and probably had a rope and were running down the hill with me. I was right, but it was still fun. Think blindfolded sledding in warm weather. *grin* The handcuffs were my least favorite part I must admit... Just because they were uncomfortable...

I got accidentally stuck to a piece of dungeon equipment once when I was messing around with another off duty DM. The handcuffs were a cheap set, something I'd never buy, and the lock on the one attached to the acaffold got stuck... We got a second key, got me out... Then had to use bold cutters to get it off the scaffold. Sheesh! Cheep toys are so not cool. Then again, I should have known better than to get myself into a situation when I was running around chasing and being chase by a woman even taller than me, LOL, each of us trying to handcuff the other.

I'm actually starting to lean towards rope bondage simply because of Midori's book on Japanese rope bondage (also known as Shibari).
Greydancer does a podcast on it as well, Rope weekly.

For myself, I just make proper preperations and not get caught.

| i know that in many EU countries, rope bondage is illegal. here, however, it will depend on local statutes. towns and cities can pass ordinances against, just for safety precautions, so it's always good to check. |

I am actually partial to a little combo of plastic wrap(the kind used for packing materials together) and duct tape.
First the person is bound from the neck down with the plastic wrap followed by the duct tape for added restraint. I also make a blindfold out of the same materials. Next I will use safety scissors and cut holes where I want access, such as nipples, ass, cock or puss(depending on who I am playing with).
Tormenting and torturing can go one for hours. I do so love to bring someone, bound like this, to the edges of orgasm and deny them that privilege over and over. There is nothing they can do but beg.  |
