I think this is the best show, so far. We're starting to get comfortable with each other and the microphones.

I somewhat disagree with the idea that a kink can become diluded when it becomes mainstream. Maybe the power of the shock value goes down, "You're attracted to WHAT???", but I don't think that the power of the attraction for the individual goes down.

But I'm also not saying that the power of attraction, or the fetish, can still hold sway when it's just a single tattoo or piercing. But then again.

Handcuffs: Boy, I should slap you. Despite being sold in novelty stores as bondage equipment, you really shouldn't use metal cuffs in bondage, longterm or short. Leather cuffs, yes. Metal cuffs, no. The reason for this is that the thin bands of metal can easily cut off circulation to the hands or whatever other extremity they're attached too.

Even the furr lined ones. Get your sub in a twisted position after cuffing them and watch their hands go blue.

Knifeplay: I am curious as to whether Mistress Dominion likes to use sharpened knives that can cut, or slightly dulled knives but doesn't tell her...victims.

Myself, I like to use a dulled knife that my partner thinks is sharp. Maybe add a little bit of warmed water to simulate blood flow if they enjoy the idea of that type of thing.

I do have some questions about the show though.

What is the main purpose behind the show? Is it for would be professionals, would be clients for Mistress Dominion, or is it for the education of those who are interested in kinky sex for their own bedroom antics?

The reasons I ask this is because there has been a couple of times that subjects I brought up have been analyzed from the perspective of a professional Domme and then you moved on to other topics. And that I need to know how to word my questions in the future.

Example: The Mardi Gra Beads pervertible, Not meant for insertion but as a light flogger or sensory device (run lightly over the skin). For insertion, I would recommend a string of pearls.

Example: The scene out of Sleeping Beauty, there was a big disclaimer slapped on that puppy about how not to expect it during a professional session, and then it was left alone.

Mind that I'm not upset and I'll continue to listen, I'm just eager to hear more on the subjects that I do submit. Should I label them as I submit them so that we all know where I'm coming from with the questions?

Keep up the good shows, I'm really enjoying them! I Hope I win me a paddle!

Good question! Ask us again on episode #30! Wink

I guess this comes from doing stand-up comedy and writing for the stage: I let art develope outside of a vacuum. For example, watch the first 3 seasons of Seinfeld. Go on, I DARE you. It blows. First season of Star Trek TNG - same problem. My first 3 years of stand up? Yep, crap.

Now, let's take that idea to this show. We don't have a direction, yet. We will swing all over the place, wildly. We'll hit 'em out of the park and we'll probably piss you off. It's open mic on your iPod!

We honestly had no idea 1200 people would be listening. If I had to do it again, Dominion and I would sit in my living room for 3 months; writing, rehearsing, buying equipment, listening to talk radio - pre-producing this show for mass distribution.

I've debated stopping the show and doing just that for a couple of months, but people seem to like listening to use learn the art as we go. So, I'll give the people what they want.

Let's summarise... is this show for the beginner or the pro? Don't know yet. The reason most of your questions are not answered is a technical problem: two mics.

Example: I've got a great question on blood play. We don't know a lot about blood play. Answer: bring in a person who does. See the problem? Two microphones! Shit!

The answer: J.R., send in ANY topic or question you want. Beginner or advanced - doesn't matter to us, we'll take any kind of help you will offer. Wink Eventually, a style will emerge and you'll just know the type of stuff we like to cover and we will have a niche. Right now, anything goes, baby! Bring it on!

I hope that gives you an answer. It a BIG question and I hate typing. I'm a talker, not a writer.

Sorry, if we didn't do the topic justice. We're still learning to consider the source. When I heard these questions I went with my gut. Sometimes my gut screws up. That's the main reason for these forums.

There is a high degree of improv in these shows. If I don't know a lot about a subject and I hand it off to Dominion - what if she doesn't know a lot, either? Crap, it's my turn to SOMEHOW create interesting radio by turning the topic towards what I do know. The same thing happens to her if I know nothing. Whoever has the ball HAS TO DELIVER CONTENT. It's just how talk radio works.

We could rehearse everything, but it sounds SOOOO bad when we've tried that. How bad? Well, you'll never hear it. That bad. Wink

Again, I'm sorry if we took the topic in a different direction. From now on, consider such curve balls a creative, "I don't know about that" and we'll tackle it in the forums or you can Skype me and we'll talk about it.

Hi All
I just wanted to point out something that I noticed after the discussion on kink becoming mainstream. In the last episode of the tv show 'Family Guy', one of the characters (Lois) is discussing bringing more passion into a marriage with a male friend. Midway through the conversation, she becomes passionate, stands up, rips her pants down and says to her husband 'oh Peter, hit me'. (Then the dog gives her a good blow to the arse).
Also in Tommy Lees latest video clip, there is a girl wearing a collar, and being led on a leash. This is portrayed in a very 'young and fun' scene.
These interested me, as I feel that the media is beginning to aid the spread of a positive view towards BDSM in the general public.
