Kinky Sex Radio FAQ
1. What is the show about?
Let's be clear: our show is NOT porn. It's a frank, honest and sometimes graphic discussion of sex. It's a show about ANY sort of hedonist/alternative/kinky/yourwordhere lifestyle. From spanking to role play, beginner to pro - all questions are answered (as best we can). But, it is NOT porn. We can't say that enough.
2. How do I hear the show?
The show is free and always will be. You can download the show (in many formats) or subscribe to our show using your favorite podcast software. Just click the links at the top of the page. We recommend iTunes. It's free.
3. How do I ask a question?
Simply drop us an e-mail at: [email protected] or call us at: (206) 350-1206. Click here to read the rules and suggestions about questions.
4. Are you going to beat up slaves on your show?
No. We don't want to be Howard Stern. We like him, but we think that tacky is too easy. We will be frank and candid - but we will try to keep the show out of the gutter. Unless someone has a tasteful question about gutter sex.
5. Do I need to buy an iPod to hear the show?
No. A "podcast" is just an mp3 file. You can listen to it on your laptop, desktop, mac, mp2 player, cell phone - whatever. The podcast players just make it easier to get the show delivered to you every week.
6. What in the hell is a podcast?
Taken from TWIT:
Podcasting is a great new way of distributing audio automatically. When a site (like this) offers a podcast feed you can subscribe to the feed using podcasting software and any new items will be automatically downloaded to your computer. As the name implies, if you have a portable audio player, the files can also be copied to the player.
However, and this is a common area of confusion, no iPod or other MP3 player is required. You can listen to the audio on your computer just as you would any MP3. In fact, with our feeds you don't even need podcast software. Just click the feed link and download the show you want directly.
If you decide you want to listen to a show every time it comes out, you might consider using a podcasting client. Think of it as Tivo for Internet audio. You subscribe to content you want by visiting the web site and getting the podcast URL. Your podcast software automatically downloads any new shows and copies them to your MP3 player. There's always something new and interesting to listen to and you never have to check the web to see when a new show is available.
Visit Wikipedia for more information about podcasting.
